IMPORTANT NOTICE – ATTENTION: If you want to use the present product to control access to critical infrastructures, carefully read the warnings in the package insert of your AirKey system beforehand! The creation of access media (cards, key fobs, etc.) with permanent access authorisation (permanent authorisation) in such an environment is strongly recommended.

FURTHR LEGAL NOTICES:

1. EVVA explicitly points out that the use of the present access control system may be subject to legal obligations, in particular with regard to data protection-relevant approval, notification and registration obligations as well as the rights of co-determination of the workforce when employed in companies. The customer shall bear the responsibility for the legally compliant use of the product. It is expressly brought to the customer’s attention that due to the complex interplay between various technologies and manufacturers, as well as the system configuration that the customer is responsible for, EVVA assumes no liability for the faulty assignment of access authorisations or their consequences. The customer must therefore review the correctness and ensure adherence to its own security standards on its own behalf.

2. The customer shall ensure that only persons with adequate technical skill shall work with the software for access system control. The customer is aware of the fact that improper use may have severe negative consequences. The customer is also aware that access by unauthorised persons (particularly in areas in which access authorisations can be assigned or changed) can cause problems which include misuse of the access system, unauthorised entry or access or denial of authorised entry or access or other problems. The customer must therefore take special care to safeguard the access data and protect it against access by unauthorised parties. The customer must provide for adequate security measures within their IT systems.

3. It is expressly brought to the customer’s attention that EVVA shall not be liable for any non-agreed or non-standard use. No claims for warranty / liability will be accepted if changes are made to the software components. Furthermore, any warranty / liability claim is also voided if the implementation of changes by the customer has not taken place, although it was necessary and required (e.g.: firmware updates, app updates, patches, etc.).

4. It is strongly recommended that the customer only use the devices included in the delivery for their intended purpose within the framework of the access control system. Non-intended use may lead to further exclusions of liability. In particular, no liability shall be assumed for errors due to the incompatibility of external third-party software.

5. The installation of components must be performed by technically skilled personnel. The assembly instructions enclosed must be observed. EVVA shall assume no liability of any kind for damages resulting from improper assembly / installation.

6. When using a telephone number in AirKey, I allow the AirKey system to send me notifications via SMS (when using "Send a Key", smartphone replacement and two-factor authentication). Fees may apply.
